When a mommy penguin and a daddy penguin love each other very much… he gives her a pebble. That’s a sign that he’s madly in love, and also has excellent taste in mineralogy! If she accepts the pebble, they use it to build a nest. They lay an egg. It hatches. The whole family buys a beach house in Key West because the arctic is too darn cold. And that’s where Squishable Baby Penguins come from.
