It’s National Craft Month!
That means it’s the perfect time to kick off our
Earth Month Sticker Design Contest!
We all love putting those cool vinyl stickers on everything from water bottles to laptops, but did you ever think about designing your own? Now you can!
Geppetto’s Toy Box is kicking off a contest to design vinyl stickers with a “green” theme in keeping with Earth Month in April. We will begin accepting entries on Friday March 6th (both digitally and on paper) and will choose THREE winners in April. Each winner will receive a $50 Geppetto’s Toy Box Gift Certificate, plus the winning sticker designs will be produced and sold here in our store in limited quantities beginning on Earth Day, April 22nd! All profits from the sale of the stickers will be donated to Green Community Connections, the fabulous force behind the One Earth Film Festival, headquartered right here in Oak Park!
HOW TO ENTER:
Bring your finished artwork to the store, on paper! It doesn’t have to be the finished sticker size. It can be bigger! We will be able to shrinkify it. 🙂 We will ask you to fill out an entry form when you come (but you may want to think about how you would describe your artwork before you come, only because it’s one of the questions on the form!)
Email a high-resolution JPEG or PDF file of your finished artwork to email@example.com. Please put “sticker contest” in the subject line! Also in the email, please include the following information:
- Your name
- Your parent/guardian’s name, if you are under 18
- Your mailing address
- Your phone number
- A brief description of your artwork
Adults and kids of all ages are invited to submit design entries between March 6th – April 13th. Three winners will be chosen by the Geppetto’s Toy Box staff after April 13th. The winning designs will be printed on matte vinyl about 3″ across, in full color, cut to shape with a white border. Designs should have a “green” theme in keeping with Earth Month and should be your own original work; artwork will remain the property of the artist.
